There are flagstone floors throughout downstairs and upstairs has been recently re-carpeted. The cosy sitting room has a large inglenook fireplace housing a wood burning stove, retro leather sofas, Sky TV and a DVD /VHS player with a selection of children’s videos. Doors open out onto a large terrace that overlooks the garden. The large open plan kitchen, that has a woodstove, is light and spacious with a good-sized wooden dining table, a Bosch double oven and hob and a wall-to-wall sumptuously cushioned banquette seating area to lounge about on. The space provides plenty of room to cook, dine and be social in. There is also a useful utility area with a washing machine, drier and freezer adjoining the kitchen. Further on past the sitting room is the large downstairs bedroom with a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. This room gives the property easy-access accommodation and can be entered directly from an area outside where you can park. The house is ideal for families with children or groups of friends and we have many toys, games and books around the house for your use so that you can make yourselves at home. The property sleeps nine comfortably, we have a cot and high chair available if needed. ![]() Within the surrounding eight acres there is plenty to amuse - there are swings, a child's wooden playhouse and sometimes a large trampoline which is positioned to take in the sunset. The large field out the back of the house also a perfect setting for a bonfire! There are a variety of old bikes, fishing nets and deckchairs in the shed to borrow and a ping-pong table set up in the barn. Stock-proof fences and old stone walls surround the hillside pasture, making it ideal for those who wish to bring pets.
